Introducing the bigger sibling of the Baja 3.0, the new and improved version is here. Taking into account valuable customer feedback, we decided to extend the popular 3-inch model. Instead of the Coyote Tan powder coat, we have upgraded the finish to our renowned Black River Wash, giving each knife a unique appearance. With its Green Canvas Micarta handle scales and a top-notch leather dangler sheath (available in black or brown), this knife is a must-have for both users and collectors.
Unlike TOPS' other models in the 4 to 4.5-inch range, this one is 5/32" thick. This thickness, combined with a full flat grind, provides superior strength compared to 1/8" blades, while still maintaining excellent cutting capabilities due to its slightly thinner profile than 3/16". Our professional heat treatment ensures a long-lasting edge that can be easily re-sharpened when needed. The jimping on the spine and finger guard offers a secure grip in tough or slippery conditions.
Thanks to its thinner blade, this knife offers enhanced precision and versatility, allowing you to make delicate cuts or effortlessly tackle thick branches. These same qualities also make the BAJA 4.5 ideal for food preparation. The inspiration for its name and design comes from the diverse landscapes of Baja California, ranging from the towering Devil's Peak at 10,157 feet to the vast Sonoran Desert and stunning beaches. Baja is renowned worldwide for its rugged and awe-inspiring terrain.
