Cold Steel Black Roman Gladius

The Roman Gladius is a famous ancient weapon known for its simplicity and long, double-edged blade with a sharp point. It was designed for stabbing and piercing, capable of defeating body armor of its time. Cold Steel® has created their own version of this iconic sword, incorporating its key features. The blade maintains the traditional shape but is made from high carbon steel with a spring temper. It is fully sharpened on both edges and boasts a polished mirror finish. The point is long and sturdy, resistant to bending or breaking. The Rosewood grip is intricately carved and decorated in the classical style. The wood scabbard is covered in black leather and adorned with solid brass throat, chape, and carrying rings.
